I was driving home to Atlanta when I got the news that the last quarter of my Sophomore year would be spent and online in isolation. As we all know, the growing global pandemic soon became the new normal, but the old normal of the Freshman (or Sophomore) 15 and group projects continued on. Soon, I was in my childhood bedroom, trying to work out a way to shoot a complicated editorial while wearing masks, staying six feet apart, and while most public locations remained off limits. It was an understatement to say that I was pulling my hair out. After calling every mom and pop grocery store in town with no reply, my team and I loaded up the car and decided to wing it. We decided Kroger was nice enough to take good photos but not nice enough that the staff would care we were taking up the whole condom isle with cameras and giggling girls. The best part about our final look book, was that we used every part of the grocery store.
